Support and App Store Checklist
This page provides user support information and lists the privacy and review items to complete before submitting simpic to the App Store.
1. Contact Support
If you have issues with permissions, photo display, iCloud downloads, deletion confirmation, or other behavior, submit them through the feedback center.
To help us investigate, include your device model, iOS version, app version, steps to reproduce, and screenshots. Please do not submit private photos unless necessary.
- Support URL: https://feedback.iqy.cool/simpic
- Legal address: Replace with your developer or company mailing address before submission.
- Telephone: Replace with your support telephone number before submission if required by local law.
2. FAQ
Does simpic upload my photos?
No. The current version does not upload photos, videos, or organizing records. iCloud original downloads are handled by Apple's system photo library APIs between your device and Apple iCloud.
Will deleting the app delete my photos?
No. Deleting the app removes app files and local app data, not photos in the system photo library.
Why does photo deletion require system confirmation?
This is an iOS safety design. Before system photo library content is deleted, iOS displays a confirmation prompt.
3. App Store Submission Checklist
- RequiredEnter the Privacy Policy URL in App Store Connect: the final HTTPS address for `privacy.html` and, if needed for English review, `privacy-en.html`.
- RequiredEnter the Support URL: the final HTTPS address for the feedback center, with real legal address and telephone details where required.
- RequiredComplete the App Privacy questionnaire. The current version does not include accounts, ads, third-party analytics, or data upload. If the submitted build remains the same, "data not collected / no tracking" may fit, but the answers must match the actual build.
- AddedThe project includes `PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy` and declares the UserDefaults Required Reason API use.
- RequiredConfirm the Info.plist photo permission descriptions accurately explain that photo access is used for organizing and add access is used for creating albums or saving organizing results.
- OptionalEnter the User Privacy Choices URL: `privacy-choices.html` or `privacy-choices-en.html`. The current app has no account or tracking switch, but a choices page gives reviewers and users a clear privacy control reference.
- As neededIf you later add accounts, provide account deletion. If you add user-generated content, comments, or public sharing, add reporting, blocking, and content moderation mechanisms.
